“In Every Moment”
Life, much like this piece, is a blend of light and darkness, moments of both holiness and struggles. The dots you see represent these moments. Some moments are bathed in light and joy, the presence of God’s blessing apparent within them. Others feel overtaken with darkness, reminding me of the moments when we are in the midst of the deepest and most difficult trials of life. Just as the layers of dark tones add depth to the artwork, God deepens our faith through our greatest moments of trial. Most of the dots are a combination of both, hinting at our inevitable imperfections, sin, and stumbles mixed in with the beauty of everyday life moments.
Each dot, and every brushstroke that shaped it, began with painting a humble cross. Those crosses, hidden beneath layers of colors, symbolize the foundation of faith that has guided me through life's mess and beauty. Though often hidden, the crosses are at the heart of every dot—a quiet but firm anchor grounding the entire painting. Just as in life, God’s presence isn't always immediately apparent, but he’s in every moment, quietly shaping, guiding, and blessing.
