I’m Duncan, and I’m an artist located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Growing up and living in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains inspires much of what I paint, and the process of translating the beauty I see in creation onto canvas brings me so much joy! I often incorporate rich textures and abstract ideas into my works to create depth and interest. I would say the most important influence in my art is my faith. Many days as I paint and pray, God uses the strokes to teach me more truths about himself. Because of this, my pieces tend to overflow with deep meaning and spiritual significance. With a background in interior design, I enjoy creating pieces that add a joyful story and initiate meaningful conversation in a space. I am thankful to get to be creative every day, enjoying life in our century old home with my husband, Ben, and our two kids, Kent (2) and Keller (Due April 2024).
